Congressman honors URG professor


Congressman Bill Johnson (R-Marietta) of Ohio’s 6th Congressional District speaks with University of Rio Grande and Rio Grande Community College students Monday morning in Professor Scott Beekman’s history class. Johnson visited the campus to recognize Professor Kevin Lyles and read a proclamation in regard to Lyle’s selection to design a sculpture for the Ohio Agriculture Research and Development Center in Wooster. The finished piece, titled “The Fruit of Inquiry,” was dedicated during a ceremony at the center in September.
