GALLIPOLIS, Ohio — The Gallia Academy High School golf team, after a pair of top-two invitational finishes, captured a home triangular match on Tuesday at Cliffside Golf Club in Gallipolis.
Against Rock Hill and Portsmouth, the Blue Devils shot a team total of 158, giving them the win and upping their season record to 24-1.
On Friday, Gallia Academy was the runner-up at the Vinton County Viking Invitational, followed by winning the Ironton Invitational on Monday.
Both of those meets were 18-hole events, as the tri-match at Cliffside was a nine-hole venture.
Miles Cornwell and Taee Hamid each had 38s, as Josh Davis dialed in for a 39.
Kaden Thomas shot a 43, followed by Jeremy Brumfield with a 44.
The Blue Devils, on Wednesday, were scheduled to compete in the 18-hole Waterford Invitational.
