It was a mixed bag of results for Mason County football teams Friday night during Week 4 action in the Mountain State.
Point Pleasant picked up its 23rd consecutive road victory while improving to 3-1 following a 35-14 decision at Herbert Hoover.
The Big Blacks – winners of three straight – built a 28-0 halftime lead and eventually held on for a 21-point triumph, the second straight for PPHS over the Huskies.
Point Pleasant ammassed 435 yards of total offense and also scored a defensive touchdown en route to the wire-to-wire victory.
Wahama dropped a 42-20 decision at Belpre, the ninth consecutive loss for the White Falcons overall.
The Golden Eagles led wire-to-wire in picking up their third straight win over WHS.
Wahama last started a regular season with an 0-4 mark back in 1999.
Hannan travels to Hundred on Saturday for a 2 p.m. contest with the Hornets in a Week 4 contest.
