HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — A tough way to finish the regular season.
The Point Pleasant girls tennis team dropped its fifth straight decision on Thursday night following a 6-1 setback to host Huntington Saint Joseph in a non-conference match at Ritter Park in Cabell County.
The Lady Knights (9-7) were overmatched in singles competition after yielding just six games in the four individual matches, but the guests made things a little tougher in doubles play.

Danielle Marcum and Sarah Deem almost picked up a second win after dropping a 9-7 decision on a tiebreaker to Alyse Lewis and Lainey Blatt in second doubles.
