Perhaps your holiday season is so busy, you won’t have time to curl up with a good book any time soon. Visit the Library to borrow a holiday-themed audiobook for listening while you bake, gift-wrap, and decorate for the holidays. While at the Library, be sure to browse the holiday music section which includes new titles such as When Christmas Comes Around (Clarkson, Kelly), I Dream of Christmas (Jones, Norah), and Evergreen (Pentatonix).

As you consider what to serve at your holiday parties and dinners this year, you may wish to glean some inspiration from these holiday cookbook titles, available from Bossard Library:

Farmhouse Weekends: Menus for Relaxing Country Meals All Year Long (Bahen, Melissa);

Boards, Platters, Plates: Recipes for Entertaining, Sharing, and Snacking (Zizka, Maria) The 12 Days of Christmas Cookbook: The Ultimate in Effortless Holiday Entertaining (Barbour Publishing Inc.);

Rebel Homemaker: Food, Family, Life (Barrymore, Drew) Superfun Times Vegan Holiday Cookbook: Entertaining for Absolutely Every Occasion (Moskowitz, Isa Chandra);

Taste of Home Farmhouse Family Dinners (Taste of Home);

Baking All Year Round: Holidays & Special Occasions (Pansino, Rosanna);

Fix-It and Forget-It Christmas Slow Cooker Feasts: 650 Easy Holiday Recipes (Good, Phyllis).

Be sure to include Bossard Library in your family’s celebration of the season by visiting the Library’s StoryWalk® at the French Art Colony. December’s featured title will be Santa’s Secret by Denise Brennan-Nelson.
