POINT PLEASANT — Though winter has arrived, it’s never too early to think about that rite of spring — prom.
This Sunday, residents can take a break from the cool temperatures and experience all things “prom” at a special preview style show sponsored by Victoria’s Prom and Bridal Boutique and featuring models from schools across Mason and Gallia counties.
The show starts at 3 p.m. at the Wedge Auditorium at Point Pleasant Junior/Senior High School. Admission is $5 and all proceeds benefit the PPJ/SHS sophomore class with PPJ/SHS’s prom being held on April 30.
The style show will feature all the latest prom fashions for both young ladies and young men. Models will consist of students from not only PPJ/SHS, but Hannan Junior/Senior High School, Wahama Junior/Senior High School, Gallia Academy and River Valley High School.
The style show has been sponsored for several years by Victoria’s and has become a tradition in the area, allowing everyone to get a preview of the hottest styles for the upcoming season.
In addition to seeing all the latest styles, there will be an intermission with door prizes and music.
