Meeks, Alexander join Southeastern Equipment

GALLIPOLIS — Two new employees have joined Southeastern Equipment Co. in Gallipolis.

The two new employees are Shaun Meeks, of Gallipolis, and Richard Alexander, of Point Pleasant.

Meeks joins the company as an outside sales representative. His primary responsibility is selling the equipment lines that esents, which include CASE, Kobelco, and Gradall.

Alexander will be a parts associate. His responsibilities include phone and counter parts orders and customer assistance.

“We are happy to welcome Shaun and Richard to Southeastern,” says Charlie Patterson, president at Southeastern Equipment. “Shaun’s past experience in the construction industry and in sales provides an excellent foundation for his role as outside sales representative. We look forward to seeing his contributions.

“Richard’s previous experience is excellent training for the position. We look forward to seeing the contributions that he will be making.”

Before joining Southeastern, Meeks held several positions at a construction and agriculture equipment company for five years, including compact equipment manager, sales representative and service technician. Previously, he had been the service manager for a construction equipment dealer at their corporate location.

Meeks earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Rio Grande. He enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, kayaking and riding ATVs. He currently resides in Gallipolis with his wife and 2-year-old daughter.

Alexander attended college at Marshall University, where he earned a degree in communication disorders. He has also worked as an office manager for a trailer manufacturer, where he handled outgoing and incoming parts orders. He lives in Point Pleasant.

Southeastern Equipment has been selling, servicing and renting heavy machinery since 1957. The company has eighteen locations throughout Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky and Indiana.
