Operation Dear Hero will begin delivering locally collected cards to veterans on Monday. With more than 1,000 cards collected, VFW Post 4464 and Don and Jennifer Walker, will begin visiting with veterans at the VA Hospital in Chillicothe and then on to personal residences and nursing homes and other veterans affairs facilities as a way to spread holiday cheer.
