OHIO VALLEY — Plans are in the works for a job fair taking place on Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2017 at the Trinity U.M. Church Community Building, 615 Viand Street, Point Pleasant, W.Va. from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This event is being sponsored by the Mason, Gallia and Meigs County Chambers in hopes of being a productive tool for getting job information to prospective employees. Congressman Evan Jenkins (R-W.Va.) and Congressman Bill Johnson (R-Ohio) will be guests at the event.
Businesses/industries are invited to participate; job seekers will have the opportunity to meet with employers from the Ohio Valley area gaining information on potential employment opportunities across various industries and education resources. Each of the employers will be provided with a table and two chairs. Job seekers are asked to bring credentials, resumes, and be prepared to interact with potential employers at the event.
