Pair receive VVA’s highest honor

At the monthly meeting of the TriState Chapter #949, Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) on March 28, Ron Wroblewski, president and Joe Wilson, second vice president, were awarded the Vietnam Veterans of America’s Achievement Medal.

The Achievement Medal is the highest honor of the Vietnam Veterans of America. The Vietnam Veterans of America’s headquarters are located in Silver Springs, Md., very near Washington, DC. The officers of TriState Chapter 949, VVA are: President Ron W. Wroblewski (resident of Gallipolis), First Vice President Keith Swain, Second Vice President Joe Wilson, Secretary/Treasurer Larry Blankenship. Other officers appointed by President Wroblewski were Chaplain Gary Simpkins, Sergeant-at-Arms Gordon Bloss
