Plymale achieves rank of Eagle Scout

Zachary Charles Plymale of Reesville achieved the rank of Eagle Scout on Dec. 3 at his Court of Honor ceremony held at Friendship Baptist Church.

Zachary is the son of Rodney and Amanda Plymale and the grandson of Charles and Helen Plymale of Gallipolis. He is a member of the Boy Scout Troop #999 of Harveysburg, Ohio.

To earn the rank of Eagle, a Scout must earn at least 21 merit badges and demonstrate leadership and community service by organizing and carrying out an Eagle Project. For his project, Zachary completed revitalization of the Sabina Cemetery.

Zachary is a senior at East Clinton High School where he is a member in the band and the book club. He is also a member of Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington and is active in 4H.

Zachary plans to join the United States Air National Guard after graduation.
