Jacqueline Ruth Carr Jenkins, born September 4, 1936, in Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away March 1, 2013, in Groveport, Ohio. She was retired from the State of Ohio Job and Family Services after 32 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Hazel Carr, and her brothers, Billy and Ronnie. She is survived by her daughters, Julia (Robert) Qualls of Middleport, Ohio, and Lorraine (Karl) Wallace of Groveport, Ohio; sister, Alice (Cookie) Trent of Orlando, Fla.; eight grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews and was loved by many friends.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. at Caliman Funeral Home in Columbus, Ohio. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Pine Street Cemetery, Gallipolis, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
