Junior Lemley, 86, Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at Arbors of Gallipolis. He was born June 15, 1926, in Gallipolis son of the late Perry Lemley and Pearl Cremeans Lemley. An United States Army Veteran of WWII, he retired from GDC where he was a store room clerk and later retired from the First National Bank of Gallipolis. Junior was a member of the VFW Post 4464 and also the Poplar Ridge Freewill Baptist Church where he served as Deacon.

Her married Betty Welch on June 30, 1949, in Gallipolis, and she preceded him in death on April 3, 2005. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Leslie Lemley, and a brother, Luther Lemley

Surviving are his daughter, Theresa Price of Gallipolis, and four grandchildren, Wendie (Bill) Holley, Bidwell; Michael (Jodi) Lemley, Bidwell; Rebecca (Frank) Overstreet, Cheshire and Frank (Marcia) Price Canal Winchester; and great-grandchildren, Jared, Cody, Kaitlyn, Jessica, Dylan, Hannah, Gage, Gracie, Vincent and great-great-grandchild, Paisley Smith.

Funeral Services will be held at 6 p.m., Wednesday, January 9, 2013, in the Poplar Ridge Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Caudil Adkins and Pastor Joe Woodall officiating. Friends may call at the church three hours before service from 3-6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be made to the Poplar Ridge Freewill Baptist Church, 637 Poplar Ridge Road, Bidwell, Ohio 45614.
