Janice Davis, 67, Vinton, Ohio, passed away Monday, December 31, 2012, at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. She was born May 18, 1945, in Virgie, Kentucky, daughter of the late Earl and Leona (Mullins) Hall. She retired from Federal Mogul Corporation, Gallipolis, where she was employed as a lab technician and had attended Deer Creek Baptist Church.
Janice is survived by her husband, Paul Davis; two children, Jeffrey (Melinda) Mullins, Bidwell, Ohio and William Earl (Julie) Mullins, Vinton; step-son, Paul Steven (Lese) Davis, Wellston, Ohio; five grandchildren, Velma Faye Pethtel, William Earl Mullins, Jr., Jeffrey Mullins Jr., Russell Mullins and Amanda Mullins; five great-grandchildren, Nathan, Analeigh and Jamie Bing and Luella and Caleb Mullins.
In addition, five brothers and three sisters survive, Hurston (Billie) Hall, Paintsville, Kentucky, Marvin (Linda) Hall, Beaver, Ohio, Eugene Hall, Thurman, Ohio, Jimmy Hall, Jasper, Alabama, Kent Hall, Michigan, Dean (Frank) Tackett, Beaver, Ohio, Gwen (Steve) Skinner, Graysville, Alabama and Rhonda (Roger) Gulyban, Trenton, Michigan.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 4, 2013, at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, with Pastor Mickey Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
