Marjorie Louise Bradbury, 91, of Gallipolis, went to be with the Lord at 5:40 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, in the Holzer Medical Center. Born October 21, 1921, in Cheshire, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Bert and Cora Yeauger Scott. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also attended the First Baptist Church of Gallipolis.

She is survived by her daughters, Patricia B. Betz, Athens, Ohio, June (Eugene) Stout, Bidwell, and Sandra K. Bradbury, Gallipolis; her grandchildren, Mark Stout, Hilliard, Ohio, Chris (Lindsay) Stout, Bidwell, Nathan (Renee) Betz, Hilliard, Ohio, and Robert “Bobby” Betz, III, Athens, Ohio; four great-grandchildren, Caleb Stout, Seth Betz, Robert Betz, IV, and Jacob Betz; a sister, Charlotte (Frank) Gunter of Charleston, W.Va. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, Marjorie is preceded in death by her husband, John W. Bradbury in 1992; a son, Robert R. Bradbury in 2004; two brothers, Charles Scott and Lewis Scott; five sisters, Catherine Birtcher, Lillian Scott, Lucille Rathburn, Juanita Ballard and Jeanette Scott.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the Cremeens Funeral Chapel, Gallipolis. Pastor Alvis Pollard will officiate. Interment will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery, Cheshire. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
