Thelma Darlene Folden, 79, of Bidwell, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013, at Holzer Medical Center.

She was born February 9, 1934, in Gallia County, daughter of the late Christopher and Edith Kingery Biars. She was a homemaker and loved her grandkids.

Surviving are her children, Sharon (Harry) Yarbrough of Rutland, JoAnn (John) Davis of Crown City, Max “Bubba” Roberts of Gallipolis, Leshia (Tony) Saunders of Crown City, Roy Roberts of McNeal, Arizona; thirteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Christopher “Junior” (Bea) Biars of Gallipolis, and one sister, Betty (Archie) Meadows of Crown City. Special thanks to a dear friend, Dee Thaxton of Bidwell.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Maxie Earl Roberts in 1968 and Elmer Murrel Folden in 1987; one son, Danny Glen Roberts in 1980; one brother, Mitford Kingery; and one sister, Lenora McGuire.

Services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, February 28, 2013, at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Dean Warner officiating. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, from 6-8 p.m.
