Otho Gus Wolfe, 84, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at his residence. Otho was born on June 1, 1928, in Buffalo, West Virginia, son of the late Lauren and Ethel Hart Wolfe. Otho was retired from Central Soya and Bob Evans Farms as a truck driver. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, a member of the V.F.W. and DAV chapter 53.

Otho is survived by one son, Cliff (Judy) Wolfe of Gallipolis; one brother, Hollis Wolfe of Arizona; grandchildren, Heather (Carl) Kearns of Mason, W.Va, Shannon Wolfe of Piketon, Amber (Mark) Oliver of Pt. Pleasant, W.Va., Jeremy Wolfe of Hawaii, Mark Chevalier, of Lancaster, PA, Ray (Vivian) Wolfe, of Phoenix, AZ, and Adam Wolfe of Chester, Ohio; several great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Eileen Willis of Gallipolis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Marsha Kay Wolfe; two sons, Charles Michael Wolfe and Marshall Ray Wolfe; three brothers, John, Dolph and Clyde Wolfe; and one sister, Nova Eskew.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2012, at Willis Funeral Home with burial following in Centenary Cemetery. Rev. Carl Swisher will officiate. Friends may call on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Military rites will be given at the graveside by the Gallia County Funeral Detail.
