Stephanie Renee Thacker, age 36, of Gallipolis, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012, at Holzer Medical Center. Born October 5, 1976, in Gallipolis, Ohio, she was the daughter of Paul Jeffrey and Lisa Diane Shockey Spence of Gallipolis.

Stephanie was an LPN at Holzer Senior Care Center.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two daughters, Meghan Nicole Thacker and Kaylyn Renee Thacker, both of Gallipolis; one grandmother, Mary Magdalene Spence of Coolville, Ohio; one sister, Valerie (Bret Tabor) Spence of Gallipolis; one niece, Madison Tabor of Gallipolis; three uncles, Marc (Pam) Shockey of Gallipolis, Scott (Melissa) Shockey of Gallipolis, and David Spence of Parkersburg, W.Va.; two aunts, Terri (Doug) Gabbert of Parkersburg, W.Va.; and Sue Stollow of Marietta, Ohio. She is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, December 7, 2012, at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Fisher officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until the time of service.
