
A man wearing a mask and brandishing a weapon robbed the Gallipolis Little Caesar’s as the store opened on Sunday morning. An as yet undetermined amount of cash was stolen during the incident. The case remains under investigation and police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect pictured here.
GALLIPOLIS — Officers with the Gallipolis Police Department are currently seeking information about a suspect wanted after he robbed a local restaurant at gun point this weekend.
Reportedly, at approximately 9 a.m. on Sunday morning, a suspect wearing a mask and a red hoodie approached the Little Caesar’s in Gallipolis — a business located at the intersection of Olive Street and Second Avenue — as a store employee was opening the restaurant, brandished a weapon and demanded that the employee hand over all of the cash from the store.
The man, who police describe as a white male, approximately 6-feet tall, got away with an undetermined amount of money.
No one was injured as a result of the incident.
