Cody Robinson scored the lone Gallia Academy goal after hits own shot was deflected by the Chillicothe goal keeper.
Chillicothe led 2-0 at the half with two goals by Justin Ball. Chillicothe added four more goals in the second half by Josh Watkins, Cameron Lowe, and Dalton Bettendors.
Gallia Academy had 11 shots, while Chillicothe had 30 shots. Zach Northup stopped 17 for the Blue Devils, while Nick Zupi had 10 saves for Chillicothe.
The Blue Devils will begin tournament play on Tuesday at Warren at 7 p.m.
