The Gallia Co. Veterans Service Commission is in the process of replacing the bronze plaque located at the doughboy monument in Gallipolis City Park. As part of this project, the VSC is asking family members of veterans for the names of military personnel killed in action during World War II, Korea or Viet Nam. Contact the VSC office at (740) 446-2005 by Tuesday, Aug. 31 to submit names.
