The three honorees — all seniors — were Kyle Dingess and Amy Noe of Gallia Academy, as well as Kasey Turley from Eastern.
Dingess — who is headed to Northern Kentucky University — was a first-team selection in Division II baseball as an outfielder. Dingess, the 2010 SEOAL South Most Valuable Player, was the lone male selected in baseball from the area.
Turley — who recently signed with Rio Grande for basketball — was a second-team selection in Division IV softball as a pitcher. Turley, a three-time Defensive Player of the Year in the TVC Hocking — was the lone Meigs County representative selected.
Noe — who will be attending Ohio State University only as a student — was an honorable mention in Division II softball as a pitcher. Noe owns the GAHS school record for career wins with 52 and also won her second consecutive SEOAL South Most Valuable Player award this past spring.
All three athletes were on teams that won league titles this year.
