GALLIPOLIS — After a successful drug bust late Tuesday evening at a residence in the Spring Valley area, deputies with the Gallia County Sheriff's Office returned to the scene Thursday evening only to execute another successful seizure.

Ronald Morris, Kevin Jamison and Ronda Jamison, all of Gallipolis, were found to be trafficking drugs at their residence on Fraley Drive off of Jackson Pike. This is despite the drug raid Tuesday at their residence.

All three suspects were arrested, along with Elizabeth Masters, on Tuesday and later released in connection with the first drug bust. Masters was not at the scene on Thursday and she has not been connected to the latest seizure.

During the raid on Thursday evening, the deputies found over $28,000 in cash concealed within a wall at the residence. This amount is in addition to the more than $17,000 confiscated during the original drug bust on Tuesday.

The deputies also seized a Dodge Neon and a Chevrolet pickup as proceeds of drug trafficking, along with a small amount of prescription drugs, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

During the original seizure, which occurred with assistance from the Gallia-Meigs Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, deputies found 25 80mg OxyContin tablets and numerous other narcotic pills.

It was unknown at press time whether the suspects will remain in custody. The Gallia County Prosecutor’s Office is reviewing the earlier case and charges against the suspects are pending.
