Sharon Kay Ferrell, 63, Vinton, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at her residence. She was born June 11, 1946 in Meigs County, daughter of the late Worley and Phyllis Archer Halley.

Sharon is survived by two sons, Danny (Christina) Ferrell, Vinton, Ohio, and Jeff (Selina) Ferrell, Vinton, Ohio; grandchildern, Sarah (Jessie) Klein, Pomeroy, Ohio, Tony (Jennifer) Ferrell, Cheshire, Ohio, Stephanie Ferrell, Columbus, Ohio, Kaylieona Kemper, Vinton, Ohio, Travis, Austin and Cassidy, all of Vinton, Ohio, and Jakobi and Matthias Vaughters, both of Lexington, N.C.; two sisters, Janet (Paul) Sigmon and Linda (Chuck) Hoffman; great grandchildren, Dakota Ferrell, Pomeroy, Ohio, and Curtis Ferrell, Cheshire, Ohio; and special friend, Earl Dawes, Vinton, Ohio.

In addition to her parents Sharon was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Betty (Robert) Swick, Barbara (Bill) Jewett and Sandra Halley.

Friends may call at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, 11 a.m.-noon, Friday, April 9, 2010. Graveside service and burial will follow at Miles Cemetery near Rutland with Pastors Don Swick and Clyde Ferrell officiating.
