Members of the Gallia Academy volleyball team pose for a picture with the GAHS student body after winning the 2009 Southeastern Ohio Athletic League championship Saturday over Marietta by a score of 25-18, 23-25, 16-25, 28-26, 15-7. The Blue Angels — who shook off a pair of Marietta match points in Game 4 — brought home their second SEOAL volleyball title in three years with the decision. It was also the first league championship decided at the new Gallia Academy High School. Complete details of the Blue Angels' thrilling 5-game triumph will be available in Tuesday's sports edition of the Gallipolis Daily Tribune.
