Jackie Lee McCoy, Jr., 39, of Henderson, W.Va., died Sunday, April 26, 2009, at his home.

He was born July 8, 1969, Mason County, W.Va., a son to Jackie McCoy, Sr. and Karen Sue McCoy.

He attended the House of Praise and Worship Church, Henderson, and was a Home Confinement Officer for the Mason County Sheriff’s Department.

He is preceded in death by brothers, Michael Paul McCoy and Derek Grimes.

He is survived by his wife, April Denny McCoy of Henderson; one daughter, Cassandra McCoy of Gallipolis; step-son, Tyler Swisher of Henderson and step-daughter, Noel Swisher of Henderson; parents, Jack and (Carol) McCoy of Henderson and Karen Sue McCoy of Gallipolis; brothers, David and (Stacy) McCoy of Henderson, Artie and (Lori) McCoy of Point Pleasant, W.Va., and Jimmy and (Trinity) McCoy of Gallipolis; sister, Jacklin and (Scott) Sinnet of Myrtle Beach S.C.; Colby, Justin and Mary McCoy of Henderson; and his special buddy, Norbit

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2009, at 11 a.m. at the Deal Funeral Home with Rev. Marshall Bonecutter officiating. Burial with the Mason County Sheriff’s Department honors will be observed and will serve as pallbearers in the Concord Cemetery, Henderson.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m.
