GALLIPOLIS — Runners from the amateur to the die-hard participated in the First Annual GDC 5K and Pig Out last year, in an effort to bring awareness to Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month and the State of Ohio’s Operation Feed Campaign. Event goers had the opportunity to enjoy not only good food and music, but also had the chance to tour GDC’s historic campus during the five kilometer trek across the grounds. The Second Annual GDC 5K and Pig Out is scheduled for Saturday, March 30, beginning at 11 a.m. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. Awards will be given to the top male and female, as well as the top three in each age group.
