Judith A. “Judy” Wright, age 72, of Crown City, passed away Tuesday March 19, 2013, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV. Born April 14, 1940, in Ashville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Glenn A. “Dutch” and Freda Strawser Goldsberry.

Judy was a homemaker and a former mail carrier. She was a member of the Crown City Community Church. She was also a member of the Crown City Community Church Ladies Group and the District 2 Fire Department Auxiliary.

Judy is survived by her husband, Thomas L. “Tom” Wright, whom she married on March 20, 1959, in South Bloomfield, Ohio; three children, Tom (Karen) Wright of Gallipolis, Tim Wright of Crown City, and Tammy (Mike) Wallace of Gallipolis; seven grandchildren, Sarah Wright, Glenna Wright, Scott (Toni) Wright, Angel (Shawn) Darst, Samantha Wallace, Maggie Wallace and Abby Wallace; four great-grandchildren; Ean Combs, Hunter Wright, Layne Wright and Tommy Ethan Moody; one brother, Glenn “Sonny” (Martha) Goldsberry of Orient, Ohio; one nephew, Curt Goldsberry; and by one niece, Ginger (Scott) Clarke.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday March 23, 2013, at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgelawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home of Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.
