Roger E. Stover, 66, Gallipolis, passed away at 11:10 a.m. Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Holzer Medical Center. Born July 12, 1946, in Gallipolis, he was the son of the late Calvin and Audrey Taylor Stover. Roger was a graduate of the University of Rio Grande where he was a founding father of the ADE Fraternity. He was a Master Mason of Morning Dawn Lodge #7 of Free & Accepted Masons of Ohio and a former member of the Gallipolis Shrine Club. Roger was a retired accountant from the Gallipolis Auto Auction Co.

Surviving is his wife, Stephanie L. Crossen Stover, whom he married on September 4, 1976, in Rio Grande; his two daughters, Jennifer Marie (Philip) Bonzo, Gallipolis, and Kristina Nicole (Bobby) Nickels, Gallipolis; three grandchildren, Isabella Hope Bonzo, Brooke Erin Bonzo and Tressel Alexander Nickels; brother, Charles (Carol) Stover, Springfield, Ohio; nieces, Kim Bernas and Tracy Stover, both of Springfield, and nephews, Chuck Stover, Springfield, and James David Thomas Crossen, Lexington, Ohio; cousins, Betty Johnson and Jerry Fife, both of South Charleston, Ohio; mother-in-law, Nancy E. Crossen, Gallipolis, and brother-in-law, David T. Crossen, Lexington, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his aunts, Geneieve Fife and Eloise Cromlish, and his father-in-law, Thomas L. Crossen.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2013, at the Cremeens Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robert W. Scott, II officiating. Private family interment will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call from 2 p.m. until the time of the funeral service on Sunday at the funeral home.
