Rev. Amos Bernard Wilson, 90, of Scottown, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at Arbors Nursing Home in Gallipolis, Ohio. The Lawrence County, Ohio, native was born November 4, 1922, a son of the late George and Mary Brown Wilson.

Amos was a retired dozer operator for the Lawrence County Engineer. He was an ordained minister and the pastor of the Okey Chapel Church in Scottown and enjoyed farming.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Kingery Wilson; six brothers, Orland Wilson, Ralph Wilson, Fred Wilson, Edgar Wilson, Stewart Wilson and Stacy Wilson; four sisters, Garnet Callicoat, Dorothy Wilson, Irene Hayes and an infant sister.

Amos is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Karen Wilson of Columbus, Ohio; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Sandra Wilson of Scottown; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Pearlie Mannon of Scottown; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Tammy Wilson of Scottown; son, David Wilson of Scottown; son and daughter-in-law, Leland and Donna Wilson of Scottown; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Michael Means of Leon, W.Va.; 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2013, at Okey Chapel Church in Scottown with Pastor Darrell Fowler and Rick Riggle officiating. Burial will follow in Brethern Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the church.
