Billy Joe Johnson, II, 49, of Crown City, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2012, from injuries received in a work-related accident in Jamestown, New York.

Billy was born on November 3, 1963, in Pontiac, Michigan, son of Billy Joe and Gelida Kitts Johnson who survive in Crown City, Ohio.

Billy was a line foreman for CTS Telecommunications, enjoyed his grandchildren, hunting and raising chickens. Billy was married to Patrice “Patti” Haslip Johnson and she survives in Crown City along with three sons, Joshua S. Johnson, Joel A. Johnson and Jamin D. Johnson all of Crown City; five grandchildren, Daulton Unroe, Aubrianna Johnson, Lyric McCormick, Ryker Johnson and Kyler Johnson; one sister, Lora “Sis” (Dale) Finley of Crown City, and one two brothers, Justin (Gina) Johnson and Jeremy Johnson both of Crown City. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Oscar H. and Drusilla Johnson, and Grover and Gertrude Kitts.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2013, at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor James Wells officiating, burial will follow in Kings Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at Willis Funeral Home on Thursday, January 3, 2013, from 6-8 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Dirk Bartrum, Bill Mullen, Jr., Dale Finley, Justin Johnson, Jeremy Johnson and Joshua Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Randy Ashworth and Nathan Bailey.
