Michael Lee Johnson, 62, of Chesapeake, Ohio, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012, at Saint Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, W.Va. He was born June 3, 1950, in Huntington, W.Va.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. “Chobby” Johnson; one brother, David A. Johnson; and an infant daughter, Judy Lee Johnson, and her surviving mother, Diane Martin Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Ann Johnson; mother, Norma Fulks Johnson of Willow Wood, Ohio; sister-in-law, Patty Johnson of Willow Wood, Ohio; step children, Jason, Sara and Nick Fielder, Zack Spaulding; three step-grandchildren, Skylar, Braxton and Ivan; and several nieces and nephews.
He retired from Gallia County Department of Highways. He was a member of Proctorville Lodge #550 F & AM.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio, by Pastor Chris Johnson. Burial will follow in Good Hope Cemetery, Crown City, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m.-1 p.m., Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio.
