Carla J. Stephenson, age 49, of Cheshire, died Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at the Ohio State University Hospital East in Columbus. Born June 1, 1963, in Point Pleasant, W.Va., she was daughter of the late James Waugh and Geraldine Burchett Waugh Rees of Rio Grande.

Carla was a homemaker.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her step father, Paul Rees; her husband, Richard K. Stephenson; a son, Keith A. (Candi) Davies of Patriot; two grandsons, Ethan and Owen Davies of Patriot; four sisters, Kathy (Terry) Carter of Thurman, Robin Merry of Columbus, Sherry Merry of Hillsboro, and Angie (Mark) Neal of Rio Grande; three brothers, Terry, Greg and Tom Rees all of Addison. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Carla’s wishes, there will be no services.
