Nina Kay Hager, 42, of Gallipolis, passed away unexpectedly at 12:38 a.m. on Friday, August 31, 2012, at the Holzer Medical Center. Born August 18, 1970, at the Andrews Air Force Base in Washington D.C., she was the daughter of Carolyn Wheeler Partain and the late Clifford George Hager. She was a full-time student at the Gallipolis Career College and also enjoyed writing poetry.
She is survived by her two daughters, Jessica (Thomas) Call of Gallipolis, and Katelynn Henry of Gallipolis; her grandchild, Brycen Tyler Eugene Call; her mother, Carolyn Wheeler (David) Partain of Gallipolis; her sisters, Lisa (William) Henry of Gallipolis, Michelle (Thomas) Halfhill of Cheshire and Kara Partain of Buffalo, New York; the father of her children, Larry Henry of Gallipolis, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her father, Clifford, Nina is preceded in death by a brother, Michael Hager.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2012, in the Cremeens Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cremeens Funeral Chapel to aid with funeral expenses.
