TUPPERS PLAINS, Ohio — That was quick.
It took just three sets for the Eastern volleyball team to put away the visiting Lady Rebels to get a win in its season opener Thursday night in a Tri-Valley Conference Hocking Division match up.
Eastern (1-0, 1-0 TVC Hocking) took the first set 25-7, the second set 25-14, and the third set 25-15 sealing the victory.
Eastern was led in kills on the night by Erin swarzel with 11, followed by Maddie Rigsby with eight and Jordan Parker with seven. Ally Hendrix chipped in with two kills, while Kiki Osborne and Katie Keller each finished with one.
Meghan Caldwell led the Lady Rebels with six kills, followed by Alicia Hornsby with four and Ellie Bostic with three. Brynn Adams finished with two kills, while Sara bailey finishd with one.
