Fire consumes Lincoln Pike mobile home

CENTENARY — Two individuals were treated for smoke inhalation on Monday evening following a residential fire that engulfed a mobile home on Lincoln Pike near Centenary.

Firefighters with the Rio Grande Volunteer Fire Department and Gallipolis Fire Department were dispatched at 6:05 p.m. to the residence located at 114 Lincoln Pike.

Emergency responders arrived on scene at 6:17 p.m. to the fully-involved fire and reportedly cleared the scene at approximately 8:23 p.m.

The Rio Grande Fire Department responded with three apparatuses, while the Gallipolis Fire Department also responded with three of their fire trucks, as well as a brush truck.

Reportedly, Able emergency management services were also requested and were dispatched to the scene to treat two patients for smoke inhalation as a result of the fire.

Gallia County Red Cross was also notified of the incident.

The fire remains under investigation.
