The Ohio Valley sky featured a stunning light show overnight Wednesday as lightning stretched across a wide expanse over and over throughout the evening. Unlike the fierce storms on June 29, Wednesday night’s storms brought much fanfare but little damage. The photo above was taken from Mound Hill Cemetery in Gallipolis overlooking Gallipolis Ferry, W.Va. Pictured right is a bolt seen from the Gallia County Campground.
