Cathy Lynn Broyles, age 49, of Gallipolis, died Saturday, June 30, 2012. Born April 14, 1963, in Point Pleasant, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Shirley Heib Lively. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by a sister, Charlotte Cobb.

Cathy was a homemaker, a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Preston “Pete” Broyles; two sons, Matthew Scott White of Gallipolis and Brian Christopher (Karlena) White of Gallipolis; two step-sons, Thomas Broyles and Tyler Broyles, both of Gallipolis; two grandchildren, Morgan and Logan White; brothers and sisters, Connie (Curtis) Nichols of Leon, Ronnie (Elaine) Lively of Point Pleasant, Christine (George) Kerns of Mason, Johnny (Kathy Ann) Lively of Bidwell, Randy (Laura) Lively of Gallipolis, Kay Harmon of Gallipolis Ferry, Charlene (Mike) Sawyer of North Carolina, Chuck (Judy) Lively of Gallipolis Ferry, and Jackie (Bob) McCaum of Winfield.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Harold Benson officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12 p.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the funeral home to help with Cathy’s funeral expenses.
