GALLIPOLIS — The French Art Colony (FAC), regional multi-arts center in Gallipolis, Ohio, will, once again, host its annual juried art competition for youth. The competition is open to youth in grades K-12. The Gallipolis Rotary Club is proudly sponsoring the competition.
All youth entries will be on public display in the Gallipolis City Park on Saturday, July 7, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The award winners will continue to be on display at the FAC from July 8-29. Entry in the competition is free.
The works will be divided into four age divisions, with each division offering a $20 first prize, along with ribbons and honorable mentions as additional prizes. A $20 Best-of-Show prize will also be awarded.
Contestants may entry up to three pieces. Both two-dimensional and three-dimensional works may be entered. The works may be dropped off at the FAC Tuesday, June 26 through Saturday, June 30.
