Two suspects apprehended during break-in

GREEN TWP. — Two suspects were recently apprehended by deputies with the Gallia County Sheriff’s Office after being caught by the property owner while attempting break into a residence in Green Township.

According to a press release issued by Gallia County Sheriff Joe Browning, two male juvenile suspects were arrested on Saturday, May 12, following an attempted breaking and entering that occurred at a residence on Vanco Road.

Reportedly, the suspects were attempting to make entry into the residence via a rear door when the property owner and a passerby surprised the two juveniles and held them until deputies arrived.

The names of the suspects have not been released and the case is being reviewed by the prosecutor’s office in relation to possible charges.
