Sheriff seeking suspects in Monday armed robbery

WALNUT TWP. — The Gallia County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information leading to the arrest of two suspects involved in an armed robbery that occurred on Monday morning in rural Gallia County.

According to Gallia County Sheriff Joe Browning, the armed robbery occurred at approximately 7 a.m. on Monday when two suspects entered Yoder Lumber, a business located in Walnut Township, and took money and other property at gunpoint.

The suspects are described as a thin, white male and a tall, black male, weighing approximately 260 pounds.

The suspects fled the area in a small, four-door, black car.

The case remains under investigation and no further information is being released.
