Gregory S. Unroe, 44, 237 Main St., has been charged with knowingly, in attempting or committing a theft offense, or in fleeing immediately after the attempt or offense, have a knife on or about his person or under his control and did display the weapon, brandish it, indicate that he possessed it, or used said weapon, according to the indictment.
Court records indicate that Unroe allegedly entered a Crown City home and held a knife to the female resident’s throat, hitting her in the head numerous times and attempting to steal her pills, which he was unable to do in the end.
He pled not guilty to the charge in court last week and an own recognizance bond was set at $50,000 along with an additional bond set at $1,000 ten percent secured.
His jury trial is scheduled for April 27, 2009, at 9 a.m.

Demarco pled not guilty to the charge and was released on his own recognizance under a $10,000 bond with an additional bond set at $1,000 ten percent secured.

She pled not guilty to the charge and was released on her own recognizance under a $5,000 bond with an additional bond set at $1,000 ten percent secured.
Her jury trial is schedule for April 14, 2009, at 9 a.m.

In addition, two other counts of possession of drugs were dropped along with two other forfeiture specifications, one for a 2008 Dodge truck and one for a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Violations included associating with known felons, testing positive for cocaine, failing to register with the employment office, failure to report to community control office visits, failing to pay court costs, restitution payments, and supervisory fees, failing to perform community service, failing to work on her GED, and failing to complete a Spectrum Outreach Center program as ordered.
She was sentenced to community control after she pled guilty to the theft of $2,221 from Courtside Bar & Grill, where she had formerly been an employee.
