Mildred Ann Merrick Redwine, 72, of Gallipolis, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008, at her residence.

She was born April 27, 1936, in Jackson County, daughter of the late Emil and Flora Woodie Dulaney.

She was married to William H. “Bill” Merrick on April 9, 1953, and Keith Redwine, whom she married July 12, 1982 in Gallipolis, and they both preceded her in death.

She was a cashier for several businesses.

She is survived by two daughters, Cheryal (Max) Crow of Jackson, and Jo (Melvin) Biars of Gallipolis; two sons, Mike (Mariann) Merrick of Mount Gilead, and Jim (Rhonda) Merrick of Crown City; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; her special friend, Jim Withrow of Gallipolis; two sisters, Vi (Bill) Bobo of Oak Hill, and Sidna Dulaney of Reynoldsburg; two brothers, Stanley (Marianne) Dulaney of Middletown, N.Y., and Bill (Janice) Dulaney of Vicksburg, Miss.; and special friends, Louise Chambers of Gallipolis, and Madeline Rosshirt of Johnstown.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, William “Bill” Merrick in 1981; and her second husband, Keith Redwine, in 2001.

Graveside services were held on Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Willis Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
