Blue Devils' Nibert, Cornwell end tennis season at district tourney

COLUMBUS - The Gallia Academy tennis duo of junior Quinton Nibert and sophomore Jordan Cornwell had their magnificient doubles season come to an end last Friday at the Division II district tournament at Columbus Academy.
Nibert and Cornwell were defeated for only the third time this year by a 5-7, 6-1, 4-6 margin against Cambridge.
Nibert and Cornwell were 16-3 overall this year as a doubles team and now has a two-year record of 28-4.
Nibert and Cornwell have been part of both of the Blue Devils' SEOAL South co-championships over that same two-year span.
