She was born May 5, 1912, in Pickaway County, daughter of the late Charles V. and Susan White Cox. Follie married Hollis Brown and he preceded her in death in 1991.
She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union in Gallipolis.
Surviving are two children, Gene (Naomi) Brown, of Crown City, and Helen (George) Holley Sr., of Gallipolis; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and eight great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Hollis, she was preceded in death by a son, Donald L. Brown Sr.; a daughter, Carolyn A. Elkins; three grandchildren, Roger Lee Cromlish Jr., David Bryan Cromlish, Donald L. Brown Jr.; a son-in-law, Roger L. Cromlish Sr.; six brothers; and one sister.
Services will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 8, 2008, at the Willis Funeral Home with Evangelist Leland Allman officiating. Burial will follow in Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 7, 2008, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
