She was born Feb. 7, 1961, daughter of Mary Irene Lawson Payne of Bidwell, and the late Harley Austin Payne.
Along with her mother, she is also survived by four brothers, Robert (Shannon) Lawson of Portsmouth, Wendell (Brenda) Payne of Bidwell, Gene Payne of Cheshire, and Keith Payne of Gallipolis; nieces and nephews, Patricia (James) Sammons and children, Isaiah and Kiana, of London, Kevin Payne of Columbus, Robert Lawson Jr., James Lawson, and Michael Lawson, all of Portsmouth, Jonathan Payne and son, Kaden Michael, of Bidwell, Julia Payne of Gallipolis, Sammy Payne of Gallipolis, and Dorothy Payne and children, Quinton and Kaleigh of Bidwell; and step-niece, Lauren Mollohan of Bidwell.
Along with her father, she was preceded by a brother, Tommy Payne, and sister-in-law, Rita Mae Payne.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 29, 2008, at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 14628 Ohio 554, Bidwell, with the Rev. Gene Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Street Cemetery in Gallipolis. Friends may call at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave., Gallipolis, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008.
