Roger D. Hollingsworth, 61, of Bidwell, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007.

He was born Nov. 19, 1945, in Beckley, W.Va., son of the late Morris and Reba Freezell Hollingsworth.

Roger retired from the USS Kobe Plant of Lorain, Ohio, as an electrician of 31 years. He was currently employed at Century Aluminum of Ravenswood, W.Va.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Jones Hollingsworth; two children, Bill Hollingsworth of Lorain, and Paula (Eric) Melendez of Lorain; three stepchildren, Charles Crouch of Bidwell, Steven (Mary) Crouch of Lorain, and Brenda Crouch of Vinton; four grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren and 15 step-great-grandchildren; and two brothers and a sister.

Private graveside services will be conducted at the convenience of the family at Poplar Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements are by the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home at Vinton.
