Stand up

Be no longer silent about faith

Dear Editor:

I do not know if you have heard the latest statistic that has came out. The statistic is that in 10 years, seven out of ten children will not be attending Church. This bothers me and should bother every Christian that is on this earth. We need to start standing up for our faith and get out and start witnessing to people about the Lord.

We cannot sit around and worship by ourselves; we need to share our testimonies with believers and non-believers. We need to share it with believers to keep the fire going inside of them for the Lord and to the non-believers to show them that there is something else out there besides this sinful world. We have to go door-to-door, house-to-house, street-to-street, city-to-city and nation-to-nation to spread our faith because that is what God wants us to do.

When there is a candidate that is for gay-marriage and/or abortion, we need to take a stand and vote against this person. When there are drugs and crime in our community, we need to take a stand and pressure our local law enforcement to drive them out of our community by writing letters in the newspaper and to our local state representative and state senator. We need to stand up united as Christians through this test that we are going through. Our faith is being tested by Muslims, terrorists, cults and radicals. They are trying to take “One Nation Under God” out of the Pledge of Allegiance, “In God We Trust” off our money and take God and the Ten Commandments out of our schools, city buildings and in any government office.

My question to you is, are you going to sit down and watch this happen to a nation that was founded on God and a nation that has had people volunteer their lives to join our Army to keep this great nation free and under God? Well, I am here to tell you that I will not sit down and I will not keep my mouth shut because I am on fire for the Lord and because I know God has great plans for my life and no one will stand in the way of that.

God gave his only son Jesus Christ for our sins. The least we can do is not sit down and keep quiet and let God and His people get ran over by people that are destined for hell if they don’t change their ways.

Please stand up with me do your duty for God. Let’s start a movement for God that will echo to the Muslims, terrorists, cults and radicals that God is here in the United States and here to stay!
