GALLIPOLIS — A Gallipolis woman faces prison time after pleading guilty to two charges in the Gallia County Common Pleas court in June.
Micah Conley, 30, 856 Lewis Road, Gallipolis, who was indicted on June 23, 2006 for illegal conveyance of drugs and vandalism pleaded guilty to attempted illegal conveyance of drugs and vandalism and was sentenced on June 28, 2007.
Conley was sentenced to the Ohio Reformatory for Women for 17 months for the illegal conveyance charge and 11 months for vandalism. The sentences will be served consecutively for a total of 28 months. Conley was also ordered to pay $550 in restitution to the Gallipolis Municipal Court.
Conley also pleaded guilty to possession of drugs in another case and was sentenced to the Ohio Reformatory for Women for 11 months, which will be served concurrently with the other two sentences. Conley’s operator’s license was also suspended for 36 months and she was ordered to pay all court costs.
Other cases resolved were:
Charles Brandon Hill, 31, 1975 Garners Ford Road, Gallipolis, who was indicted on Feb. 7, 2007 for robbery, pleaded guilty attempted robbery and was sentenced to 24 months community control, ordered to submit a TASC and FACTS evaluation, ordered to perform 500 hours community service, with all but 60 hours stayed, which will be further stayed if Hill retains at least 35 hours per week employment, ordered to register with OES, ordered to pay $376.40 in restitution and ordered to have no contact with the victims.
Heather Henry, 28, Applegrove, W.Va., who was indicted on Dec. 19, 2006 for theft pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 12 months community control and ordered to have no contact with Walmart.
