Clara Belle “Aunt Belle” Bradley, 92, of Bidwell, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2007, at the Holzer Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 8, 1914, in Point Pleasant, W.Va., daughter of the late Hal and Ella Drummond Schwartzwalder.

She married Pat Bradley in December 1937, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 1991.

Clara Belle was a member of White Shrine of Gallipolis, a Gallipolis Emblem Club charter member, a member of Grace United Methodist Church, U.M.W. of Simpson Chapel of Rio Grande, and Open Gate Garden Club of Rio Grande.

She retired from the Keystone Heights, Fla., Post Office as a clerk. he spent over 30 years in Florida.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews and locally a niece, Clara June (Darrell) Day of Bidwell; sisters-in-law, Marcella (Lester) Barnhart of Farmersville, Ohio, and Louise Bradley of Florida; and special friends, Betty and Denver Wallace of Gallipolis.

In addition to her parents and husband, Pat Bradley, she is preceded in death by a brother, James Schwartzwalder, and a sister, Virginia Grover.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2007, at Mound Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. Sharon Courneen officiating.
